Building Mzansi

Taking South Africa Upwards Together

“Up We Go Mzansi” is a movement calling every person in South Africa to harness our collective talents and strengths, and to move South Africa upwards together.

Based on the belief that we are better together than apart, we can all make positive changes and build South Africa.

Up We Go Mzansi is led by the Social Cohesion Advocates Programme, made up of volunteer activists powered by the South African Department of Sports, Arts and Culture. We wish to inspire all people living in South Africa to work together towards building a stronger, more unified country.
